We are Buds and Blossoms and if there’s one thing we want you to know about us, it’s that we love families. No matter the shape, no matter the size: we are passionate about the groups of big people and little ones that give our hearts homes.

Buds and Blossoms is a family activity studio conveniently nestled in Cabbagetown offering a diverse selection of educational and entertaining classes and events for children and their grown-ups.

Whether you’re preparing to welcome your first addition or already have additions that need something above and beyond school, we’ve got the solutions and support you are looking for.


Courses for you and the little ones!

Our classes are offered on a 12-week semester basis throughout the year. During the summer holiday, day camp programs are offered.

Fall Semester: September 17 – December 8, 2018

Winter Semester: January 7 – April 7, 2019

Spring Semester: April 8 – June 28, 2019

Our classes are taught by subject-certified instructors and all have passed the vulnerable sector check.

Winter Semester Schedule

Creative Tales

An introductory class for children to explore different literary tales and stories throughout history. Children will get a chance to read different tales and create crafts, movements and songs that represent the content they have explored thought the stories they have learned.

Little Breakers (Break Dance)

Get ready for a crazy fun dance class that will make your “headspin”! (See what we did there?) If your child was a fan of our Turntableism and Hip Hop classes last year, Break Dance will be an awesome treat! Weaving together principles of hip hop culture, self-expression and physical fitness, this class will infuse your child’s day with an exciting introduction to breaking that will keep them enthusiastically engaged with positively poppin’ energy.
