We are Buds and Blossoms and if there’s one thing we want you to know about us, it’s that we love families. No matter the shape, no matter the size: we are passionate about the groups of big people and little ones that give our hearts homes.

Buds and Blossoms is a family activity studio conveniently nestled in Cabbagetown offering a diverse selection of educational and entertaining classes and events for children and their grown-ups.

Whether you’re preparing to welcome your first addition or already have additions that need something above and beyond school, we’ve got the solutions and support you are looking for.


Courses for you and the little ones!

Our classes are offered on a 12-week semester basis throughout the year. During the summer holiday, day camp programs are offered.

Fall Semester: September 3 – December 23, 2019

Winter Semester: January 6 – April 3, 2020

Spring Semester: April 6 – June 25, 2020

Our classes are taught by subject-certified instructors and all have passed the vulnerable sector check.

A sneak peek into some fun!

Here are some upcoming classes.


An exploration of all things clay! We will be rolling, kneading and moulding to create exciting new designs. In clayology, we will be building upon the basic skills of clay and learning new techniques to bring our experimentation even further.

Chefs in Training

Do you have a budding sous chef at home? We’ve got a class for them to blossom in! Little chefs will have a chance to collaborate on recipes and meal planning with their peers in a safe and exploratory environment that strongly encourages a healthy lifestyle and positive relationship with food. As they learn age-appropriate kitchen skills, they will also have the opportunity to put their imagination, creativity and decision-making skills onto their plates. Green cooking practices, nutrition and body positivity will also be an ongoing theme from week to week in their classes that they can bring home and share with you. Bon appetit!
